My sanyo ds31520 tv, was working find when I cut it off last night. Came in today and it will not do anything. With tv remote or turning it on with tv button. hook another tv up to the outlet and it worked ok.What could be the problem?

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

The main power supply, or the horizontal output stage may have failed. Sometimes when the horizontal output stage has failed parts, the power supply is also damaged.
An experienced tech should be able to troubleshoot your set for you and replace the defective parts.

Similar power problem with my Sanyo CE32FWN3-B. Powered off one night and it will not power up again.
