I have a 660 series ZyXEL router. I opened in into bridge mode yesterday, not I cannot connect to anything. I cannot configure my router through the 192.168.2.1, it will not connect to it.

Try setting both internal and external interfaces to DHCP rather than static, or if you have legal static IP address put it on INTERNAL interface only.and leave external as automatic.

in there you just give the dyanamic ip address automatically then you get it but you want to give it the go for the router mode in that you get it i just send a link you just download that think user giude then go througt it step by step ok

In order for your router to work, you first need to set your modem to bridge mode. When you bridge your modem, it will serve as a "pass through" device.

You need to put the zyxel p600 into bridged mode

i think there is no need to do bridge mode.

all u need to do is to login to your router and then to clone mac address.

that should fix it and if not then just call your ISP (internet provider).

and ask them to register your mac address.

that should fix your issue.

well to start, your connection would possibly be ADSL and your zyxel is set to provide DHCP address on your network, so its router capabilities could be turned on.

if this is true, you may need to rework the connection settings.

here's a recommendation:

1.set your modem to bridge mode (bridge only)
2.this will then be allowing your linksys to manage your DSL connection through PPPoE
3.after so, your linksys router should get a public IP address for an internet IP when you go to status tab (not an IP address starting with 192.168.1.xx)

after so, you may reconfigure your port-forwarding.

the reason why you will need to set your modem to "bridged" only is that if it is not, your zyxel's firewall is also turned on, provided that the linksys' firewall is always on. so even if you define which port will be opened on the router, it will still be blocked by the modem's firewall.

the i =ndications are quite clear it's a concern with router's wireless reception...try to reconfig wireless settings on your router change channel to 1 if still the same router is not sending wireless signals properly..
