There are 3 different LEDs on the front of this televison. The TIMER will blink green. The STATUS will blink orange and the LAMP will flash red or orange depending on if there is a failure or if the lamp timer is showing over 5000 hours.
If I answer your question directly and the status is blinking a steady orange light, then you have left the side filter cover or the front lamp cover off or they are loose.

The capacitors on the DM board need replacement, thats a common problem it will work fine but if power is loss even for a minute the capacitor drain, then they cant recharge since they need replacement so the set will just keep blinking the timer light.
