My Nikon L4 camera ..I can't figure out how to Delete all the pictures.
Hello, I'm having some issues with my Nikon L4 Coolpix camera, It's a great camera, however, I can't figure out how to delete all the pictures on my camera, it'd be fantastic if I could get some help with this. I'd rather not go through every single picture and delete them one by one. I've gone through the entire menu trying to find a place to "delete all pictures" ..No such luck. Could you please help me, again, help would be so greatly apperaited..
Thank you very much,

Power on your camera.
Press the playback button (bottom left with right arrow in a box) to display a picture.
Press the Menu button (top left) to get to the playback menu.
Scroll down to the Delete selection and press OK.
This will show another screen with a choice for Erase all images. Choose this and press OK. - done!

Answer specifc to this camera as follows: With camera on, push the > button to view saved pictures, when first picture appears in the frame, push "menu" and you will see a prompt to "delete", press "OK" and follow prompts to delete "ALL" pictures. The manual for this camera does NOT provide this info, it only deals with ability to delete one at a time.
I have the problem by turning on... But the camera start when I press about 10-15 times on the switch. I think the problem is not coming from the switch because by turning of, it goes the first time.
I have tryied to take the batteries or/and the memory card out but it doesn't help. By taking out the memory card I never lost the pictures...
Go to www.convar.com and download PC Inpector - this will bring back images on the card.
Upload them you your computer
and then in the camera - select delete all
On the camera CD there is a full manual in PDF format
Pictures can sometimes be recovered by sending the card to a service provider, or by downloading software designed to recover the pictures from the card.
It is not clear weather the problem is the card or the camera, however to recover the pictures from the card would be the same process. If you do not have one you will need to buy a USB card reader to load the card on the computer.
Consider buying another card to test in the camera, if you so wish. If the camera is new enough also consider contacting the manufacturer for warranty assistance.
