Sure you can. You can use any photo editing software like Photoshop or Adobe Photo Deluxe or any number of others. If you are using Windows XP you can also use the Scanner and Camera Wizard that comes with the OS. Click Start and then All Programmes and then Accessories. Scanner and Camera wizard is in the list. As long as the scanner is installed correctly then the Wizard will scan for you. It is really easy to use.
If you are using a Mac, you will need to get a photo editing software for the version of OS that you are running.

I have updated my HP Photosmart Essential to 3.5 but now I can't use HP Director. I have tried to find it on the Internet but have been unsuccessful. What I want to do is put pictures into my HP psc 2410 all-in-one & scan them into my computer. I can't do that without HP Director.
