it didn't work. If i put brand new batteries in it it will turn on but within like 30 seconds it says battery depleted and then shuts off. I know I didn't do anything to make it not work. please if you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them because I have no clue about these things

    Thank you ever so much

Take batteries out and clean the base of the battery compartment with a pencil eraser do the same with the battery compartment cover contact's now try. If that fail hold the battery compartment tight then turn on. If it comes on then - open the compartment and lay a piece of foil across the batteries and close the lid. does it work? No to bad it dies but you should have a warranty- do you have other proof of purchase?

Well this does seem that either the 'fresh batteries' are not so fresh.
What sort of batteries are you putting in?
These camera need very high energy batteries
    like Ni/Cad or NiMah- rechargeable.
Normal alkaline will not last very long.
Tell me more about the batteries.

Would like to know model # for charger for a sanyo vpc-t700 camera. I lost my charger and need to find a replacement charger that came with the camrea. That is why I need model #. Please Help Jon

I have the same problem. Sanyo advised this charger is no longer made. Other than eBay, Radio Shack has charger that will work with the battery in the VPC-T700 and priced at $30. Walmart has a universal charger for numerous devises with varying connections, also priced at $30. I did not try the Walmart option; however, the packaging does list Sanyo products are compatable.

The battery for my sanyo digital camera won't charge.

I had this same problem with my Sanyo. I went on E Bay and purchased a new battery.. It was about 8 dollars and shipped from China. But it worked when I put the new battery in and charged it.
