Question about NRS Rock'em Sock'em Robots

Open Question

I need to remove one of the arms of one of my vintage Marx Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots because it was attached in an incorrect position. It punches up instead of straight out. It's attached

My Rock 'em Sock 'em Robot cannot knock his opponents block off because his punch is too high. It's just one gear slot off but I cannot figure out how to remove the arm without damaging it. Please help. Thanks!

I have a vintage RCA Victor turntable from the 50's or 60's. I need to replace the needle housing, but cannot find a model or serial number to look for parts.

Turnatables then used ceramic or crystal cartridges. All you need to do is look for one of them plus something that will fit in the space in the arm. You will probably not find the original cartridge.

How do i take off the armrests from the bucket seats

  • On most vehicles the arm rest are attached the same way, here is something you can try...Put the armrest in the upright position. Look along the bottom and sides of the armrest where it connects to the body of the seat. There should be small circles like tabs if the armrest is made of plastic, and there should be a seam that you can look through if the arms are made of cloth.
  • Pop out the tab or peel back the fabric to reveal the holding mechanism. If the chair is screwed in then you'll need a screwdriver, and if there's a nut or a bolt then you're going to need a socket wrench.
  • Hold the armrest up and make sure it doesn't move. Unscrew or unbolt the arm from the bucket seat. Pull the arm outwards once the hardware is removed.

My Dual CS 1264 Does not work. The arm swings out over the record, drops slightly and then returns to its resting position on its base

It seems that the special grease is old. There is a wheel moving the toneam. Remove any old grease from it and try again. If you need further instructions or a way to get new grease please refer to www. dual-board.de This is the worlds largest knowledge base for vintage Dual turntables. It is in german, but feel free to post in english, most people here in germany speak english, too.

Left windshield wiper stopped working, what could be the problem?

At the base of the wiper arm there is likely a plastic cover or cap. When you remove that cap or cover there will be a nut that holds the wiper arm to the post. Align the arm back to it's proper position and tighten the nut. Typically they are aeither a 15 mm or 13 mm nut.

How do you change the wiper motor on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee

Not a terrible job. Remove the wiper arms from the studs (held on by swing out stainless retainers at bottom of the arm on the stud) Then remove the cowl (six or so screws and it lifts off). remove the screws that hold each stud in place and the brackets that hold the motor in. The entire assembly then comes out. You need to twist it into exactly the right position. Not difficult but annoying.
You then can separate the motor from the linkage (transmission) and replace it. On some models you can do that in the car but taking everything out has always been the easiest way for me.
Installation is the reverse of removal. careful not to pinch squirter hoses. Whle it's out inspect the transmission linkage arms for cracking as many stress and break.Run the motor without the arms attached then turn them off so they park. You can then position the arms correctly.

Where is the cam sensor on a 2005 dodge neon sxt 2.0

Camshaft Position Sensor-On top of engine Operation The Engine Management System (EMS) uses the camshaft position sensor to manage sequential fuel injection and as part of misfire diagnosis. The EMS constantly monitors the number of pulses on the signal circuit. The EMS compares the number of camshaft sensor reference pulses and the number of crankshaft position sensor reference pulses received. If the EMS receives an incorrect number of pulses, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) should be stored in the EMS. Some engine management systems will then default to multi-port or "gang-fire" injector operation. The camshaft position sensor signal is required to sequence the injector operation to the proper cylinder timing. If the camshaft position sensor or circuit is faulty, most engines will start. However, the EMS misfire diagnostic will likely be affected.
The following symptoms can be caused by an intermittent wiring connections or faulty signal to the EMS.
    Related Symptoms
    • Extended crank time with a cold engine
    • Intermittent rough running
    • Unstable idle
    • Bucking
    • Hesitation
    • Stumble
    • Chuggle
    • Poor fuel economy
    • Stalling on acceleration

Windshield shutters while in delayed mode, it

Excessive grease in wiper motor. Motor needs to be removed and the grease cleaned out. Regrease only the areas needing to be greased.

There is also a recall for this vehicle for the wiper module. Call the dealer with your vin # to see if it has been done. I will post the instructions for motor removal and install.

    1. Turn the key to the OFF position.
    2. Open the hood.
    3. Remove the three push-in retainers that attach the air inlet grille (leaf screen) to the plenum sheet metal.
4 . Lower the hood to the secondary latch.
    5. Using a suitable marker or masking tape, mark the location on both wiper blades on the windshield.
    6. Remove the covers from the nuts that attach the wiper arms.
    7. Remove the nuts from the wiper arms.
    Important
If the rocking action in the next step fails to loosen the wiper arm, it may be necessary to use a standard top-post battery cable terminal puller to remove the wiper arm.
    8. Rock the wiper arms back and forth to loosen and remove them from the wiper transmission shaft.
    9. Remove the antenna mast.
    10. Remove the 10 mm hex head nut that attaches the left and right ends of the air inlet grille to the plenum sheet metal.
    11. Remove the air inlet grille and reposition it up to the windshield. It is not necessary to disconnect the washer hose.
    12. Remove the two 10 mm hex head bolts that attach the wiper module to the plenum sheet metal.
    13. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    14. Position the new wiper module to the vehicle and connect the electrical connector.
    15. Install the wiper module in the plenum sheet metal.
    16. Install the two 10 mm hex head bolts that attach the module to the plenum sheet metal. Tighten nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
17.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, turn the wiper switch ON, and visually verify that the wiper transmissions operate. After visually verifying operation, turn the wiper switch to the OFF position and allow the wiper transmissions to stop moving before turning the ignition switch to the OFF position. The wiper motor will now be in the PARK position.
    18. Using the marks or masking tape that were placed on the windshield, align and position the wiper arms on the wiper transmission shafts.
    19. Install the nuts on the wiper transmission shafts. Tighten the nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
    20. Install the covers on the wiper arm nuts.
    21. Remove the marks or masking tape from the windshield.
    22. Open the hood.
    23. Install the three push-in retainers that attach the air inlet grille to the plenum sheet metal.
    24. Close the hood.
    25. Verify that all functions of the wiper system (low, high, delay, etc.) operate properly.
