Not sure on model but you should be able to put it straight in any car as long as the gap for cd player is big enough
you will have to do a little experementation with the wires sorting out the speaker wires earth and live once you have done this conect them to the cd player wires and bobs your uncle some times you can buy proper wire harnesses that go onto existing wires and the new harness plugs straight in but when fitting the live put an inline fuse onto it saves burning out the one in fuse box or the cd player but should be straight foward hope this helps ivan

SOURCE: CD stuck in CD player. Cassette and radio works good. But CD stuck.

This symptom is often a sign the player is nearing its end of useful life. But, sometimes it is merely due to a collection of dust, dirt or a foreign object lodged in the mechanism. Sometimes it is a logic error inside the electronic memories.

So, there are a number of possibilities.

Here is what I would do:

ONE: Do NOT force it or use tools to pull the disc out.
TWO: If you can find the wires that supply the 12 volts to the unit, pull that wire so there is no power to the unit whatsoever for at least 30 seconds. That will reset the electronics inside the player.
THREE: IF you cannot find the wires, or if they are too hard to get to, you can pull the plus cable off the battery; raise the hood and with a wrench loosen the bolt holding the plus cable onto the battery terminal. Pull it off for at least 30 seconds or longer, then put it back on. This will perform a hard reset as in TWO.
FOUR: If still no removal try this technique:
http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-a-Stuck-CD-from-a-Car-CD-Player

If it is not an expensive unit you may find it a superior investment to purchase a new player rather than pay a tech to repair it. (In the worst case the unit must be pulled, cover removed and disc manually removed; then you may find out there are damages or defective circuits awaiting further repairs; probably looking at a charge of $75 or more if you go to a service shop).

Let's hope the ideas above kick it out and it returns to normal useage.

SOURCE: CD Player and Cassette player not working, radio still does

If you are using a "burnt" CD, expect this to happen. This is common.

Disc will not load into subaru forester cd changer

This also happened to my 2002 WRX. I took the CD player out of the console and found a tiny spring (which I could not find) was not in its location, which would actuate the "play CD" switch inside. After a few hours I decided to reassemble the player and use it as a non-CD unit. The radio and cassette player still work, so I purchased a cassette MP3 player adapter so I can plug in my cell phone and play songlists.

How do i replace radio cassette player with a cd player mazda 6 2002

Don't replace it. Go to Walmart and buy an adapter. It is usally at the check out somewhere and It cost about $5.00. It has a cassette that goes into the cassette player. Then you plug your ipod or whatever into the attached wire. Doesn't look cool but it works and it is inexpensive. The adapters with the cd player attached skip (we had one 20 years ago) so just buy the new kind of adapter for less and play all your up to date gadgets. Put your cd songs on your ipod or iphone. Our son uses one in his truck with his little ipod shuffle. No cd player needed.

I purchased a 1997 Honda accord Se for my 16 year old daughter but the radio/cassette doesn't work. I want to put in a cd player without paying a fortune, what is my best option?

i would recommend purchase an aftermarket cd player. you can also purchase a cd player is dash kit. that will come with the wire harness connector and the brackets to hold it in place.

Will the wireing from a 2005 chev radio cassette

It will work as long as it's for a GM cd radio but as mentioned it will have to be re-programmed by the dealer.

If it's an aftermarket cd player, you'll require a separate module harness with a relay circuit for the airbags and tach information to function. Or you can purchase a re-location kit which allows you to locate your factory radio into your trunk to hold those funtions. The re-location kit is a fair bit cheaper than the module. It's stupid that GM would design a system like that but that's what you'd need.
