One of the key caps came off of my Acer 9504 notebook, and I purchased a new keyboard. Can anyone tell me how to remove the old one to replace it? I hope someone else has experienced this, I can't see to see how to remove the covers to get to the screws that I'm sure are hidden in there.
Since you already bought the new keyboard then it is just a matter of removing the flat plate at the top right under the lcd monitor..it should snap off but be careful ....very careful then there are two screws under that the hold the keyboard down...just get those out disconnect the keyboard and pop in the new one.. let me know how it works out

You can't just replace the keycap, they are completed integrated, and the cost of the whole keyboard (it has the numeric keypad built in) was only about $25.00 with shipping. Good price, now will try to take off the flat plate...wish me luck!
