Hello i have a lucent partner 18d and need to reset password and don't know how can you help me???

    How do i know what partner i have??? the unit is 18d i need to reset the greeting and clean the voice mail i would like the admin to set it up to my company info.....

Which Partner voicemail do you have? What password do you want to reset? A user or a admin????

    You should call someone in. If you do not know the admin password (which will be required to default the sytstem and set it up for you) you will need an Avaya business partner that knows the backdoor passwords.

Depending on the type of vioce mail you have your administration mailbox is either 0 or 99 with a default password of either 1234 or 123456. Accessing the admin mbox can be done from any extension.

Need to change the main greeting on our lucent/partner system?
You need to press 0 at the voicemail login prompt. If you dont have a button programmed you can dial Intercom-7-7-7. If the system is configured properly you will get the login prompt. You can then dial 0# for the admin login. The default password is 1234#

Disable the speaker button on a lucent partner 18d
It is not possible to diable the speaker phone but you can use the HFAI / Mute button to mute or unmute the spk. By default the spker phone is muted. Hope this helps.

Has someone changed the password by accident?

To figure this out for sure, we need to know the model of the voicemail.

When you dial into the voicemail to check messages, the recording voice comes on and says "Welcome to Partner......."
