The "Attaching Handle" that has the "On/off Switch" on it came apart where it is attached to the metal ring (square not round) attaching it to the "Vegetable Chef Cover" The model is La MACHINE by Moulinex "MODEL 390 & 354". It will fit back together but will not stay together, therefore, I cannot secure the cover down on the "Vegetable Chef Base"
Is there some way to repair this or can I get a new "Attaching Handle"?
A) That recall is on the later Regal models, not the older 300 series, which are entirely different. b) Parts show up on eBay, I just bought a box so I could get the DoughWorks attachment. Plus, the lid to my vegetable chef has a broken piece off of the attaching strap where the switch is, so I always had to hold it up against the machine. The box of parts I'm getting has a new lid, so I can replace my proken one. I may be getting another box of parts, because the listing has the blender attachment, which I want. If you are still looking for a lid replacement, I can sell you a new vegetable chef base and lid from the other lot, if I should win it. Email me at [email protected] if interested.
