This is a list of all the Sony TV control codes for DIrecTV remote controls:

10000, 10810, 10010, 10011,
10080, 10111, 10834, 11317,
11685, 11904, 11925, & 10505.

These codes control Sylvania TV with the RC65, & I suspect they work with the RC64: 11864, 10171, 11271, 11314, and 11394.

I installed systems for Directv, and whenever i went into a home that had a combo tv / vcr, i could never get a set to program properly. At the most on some sets the remote would turn the tv set on and off, but others functions were non responsive.

The RC64RB has more codes in it. Unfortunately, it is an extra $25. BUT, it is backlit, which is very cool at night. With my RC64RB, I get 16 codes to enter for your TV (Emerson HDTV).

Have you tried 10060 10451 10054 10166 10702 10030 10047 10068 10093 10145 10154 10016 10039 10747 11147 11347 11919 10056 10466.

If you're lucky it will respond to code 10178, if not then you will need a rc64 directv remote and try the proview codes. The proview codes are worthless in any other directv remote other then the rc64 series. ALSO try code 10835.
