For the last week or so my phone dosn't want to pick up a signal no matter where I go. Sometimes it even gives a message stating network not available or it will just say searching. Sometimes when I do recieve a singal, all five bars, I try to make a call and the signal drops as soon as I start dialing the number. I've been to several stores asking about this problem and they tell me to take the battery out and put it back in, or to master reset the phone which dosn't work. Then they tell me it's the phone. I'm totaly clueless.
Please suggest my lennovo antenna for gsm voice call is not working after it fell off. and company people not repairing it

I had the same problem, with my Sony Z520a phone. Try this. power off the phone, remove the battery, and SIM card, take a pencil with a rubber eraser, and clean all the gold contacts (battery and Sim card contacts) very carefully, and lightly, with the eraser part of the pencil. Now blow some air into the sections you just cleaned. Re-install the SIM card and the battery. Power the phone on and see if this corrects it? Worked for me!

I am having this problem as well. A repair guy told me its probably the antenna's connections to the circuit board, but he couldn't fix it. I'm searching for a solution...
