Question about Sony Ericsson Z520a Headset Headset

3 Answers

Problems with connectivity. No signal.

For the last week or so my phone dosn't want to pick up a signal no matter where I go. Sometimes it even gives a message stating network not available or it will just say searching. Sometimes when I do recieve a singal, all five bars, I try to make a call and the signal drops as soon as I start dialing the number. I've been to several stores asking about this problem and they tell me to take the battery out and put it back in, or to master reset the phone which dosn't work. Then they tell me it's the phone. I'm totaly clueless.

I had the same problem, with my Sony Z520a phone. Try this. power off the phone, remove the battery, and SIM card, take a pencil with a rubber eraser, and clean all the gold contacts (battery and Sim card contacts) very carefully, and lightly, with the eraser part of the pencil. Now blow some air into the sections you just cleaned. Re-install the SIM card and the battery. Power the phone on and see if this corrects it? Worked for me!

I am having this problem as well. A repair guy told me its probably the antenna's connections to the circuit board, but he couldn't fix it. I'm searching for a solution...

Hi I have a samsung galaxy A3. After a software update a week ago I cannot connect to any internet services.I'm getting a timed out message or please check your connection. Laptop is connecting fine.

Can you connect to WiFi ?
I presume you can so.....

Before you continue...check for any more additional updates again because the manufacturer may have an Update patch for the main Update (a cure for it's own bad update) if so, download and install.
If that draws a blank........
1. Turn your phone off and take out Sim card and give it a gentle clean over the contact points with soft dry screen cleaning cloth.
Replace the Sim and switch back on. (sometimes the act of switching off can reset the device) try to connect.
2. assuming that failed, check you have decent coverage signal. Your service provider may be having problems where you are, they may have speed issues. Call your provider to check your account settings.
As an absolute last resort you can factory reset the device (backup any information like pictures vidoes contacts etc before you do this)
Updates are the commonest of all problems with device failures.

My android phone was working great for the iinternet but the last week it keeps losing connection what is the problem

You case may vary with the type of the connection you are using, sometimes when you are connected to a weak signal internet connection it will disconnects automatically. Or maybe the device itself is malfunctioning.

My motorola is showing, no srevice and emergency calls only. what is the sultion of this problems

hi, this is not an issue actually.

when your mobile's antennae does not recieve teh signal from the tower, you see this message. if you are just far from the signal, you'll see the emergency only, now you can call the emergency number 112 only,

when you are even not in the reach of emergency signal, it displays No Service.

you can use the Emergency signal when you are in need, you have to call 112 and an agents picks your call and helps you regarding police, fire, or you can ask them to inform some matter to others in urgency..

My DSL 2wire modem always blink like crazy.

DSL light blinking green/red indicates you do not have a solid connection to your DSL signal. Typically this can be anything from the connections at your home all the way to the connections with your ISP. As I do tech support for this model of 2wire modem all day long here is what I would tell you to do if you were calling me:

Are you using the proper length of phone cord (15ft or less): people sometimes have a longer phone cord in use and while it MAY work for a while outside conditions will effect the DSL signal enough that it no longer cuts the mustard. The longer the phone cord the more resistance a signal has in reaching the modem.

Filters: Typically the 2wire modem comes with 3 1-way filters and a single 2-way filter. Often people put the wrong filter on the modem, which doesn't even require one, or they put the correct filter (2-way filter) but hook it up to the wrong end (that is to say it should be connected to the DSL side of the filter). All other devices in the house such as phones, fax machines, Tivos, DVRs, Sat TVs, and monitored alarm systems (AKA anything ELSE connecting to/using the phone system) should be on filters.

Phone service: Do you have phone service? Do you have a dial tone or static? If so all problems with phone service will effect your DSL service as that is how the DSL service is piped into your home...that is to say through the phone line. Do not contact your ISP for this problem as it is a phone line problem creating your internet problem.

Phone jack location: Have you tried moving the modem, it's power cord, and proper length phone cord to another jack? Granted the argument that "it worked yesterday, so it should work today" is a strong one but sometimes putting the modem on another jack JUST to test out any potential wiring problems is a helpful one and could save you a lot of frustration. If one jack gives you red/green DSL lights and the other gives you solid green...that should speak for itself.

ISP provider: IS your service turned on? It may be a shall we say....obvious but if your service has been turned off, or not even turned on yet, then that would be why. In addition, if the above does not help in determining what the problem is, a technician may need to be dispatched to determine where the fault lies. Sometimes it's the box down the road and sometimes it's a few miles away.

Clicking on handsets, loss of signal strength.

We decided to remove each handset, one at a time, from the system to see if we could determine if any of them were defective and maybe the cause of our problems. We took handset #1 and removed its battery. We continued to have the clicking and other noise. We put the battery back in handset #1 and removed the battery of handset #2. Immediately we noticed we did not experience the noise and clicking problems. We have concluded that handset #2 is defective. To verify we will keep handset #2 out of service for a week. At the end of a week we will reinstall the battery and if we have noise and clicking we have verified handset #2 is defective, the cause of our noise and clicking and needs to be replaced. Just to be on the safe side we will continue testing each additional handset to verify if any others are defective.

Used phone many problems

Contact your network provider. They can test the signal of the phone and also reset it to the network settings. Have you turned your phone off recently? Leaving a phone on continually will sometimes give you these errors. The network updates the software in your phone and if you do not turn it off once in a while the updates will not be applied.
