What is a sound bar woofer and function

A woofer is a device that producers low frequency bass sounds. Often in a form of Sub Woofer. Bass sounds are not directional. So once set up it will give the rumble and vibration needed to the sound system.

I have Mercury 2.1 white speaker. It works fine for half an hour but after that the woofer's sound stops-start frequently at highest bass but when I reduce the bass It works normally with no distortion.

If highest bass means you are boosting the bass for effect then it may be some form of speaker protection cutting in.
The most likely is a Polyswitch, which increases in resistance as it heats up when too much current is going to the speakers. The sound resumes when it has cooled down.

Woofer sound is very loose

If you mean low bass, then you can adjust with the bass controller to reduce the limit of the bass frequency. Check to see the woofer mountings are firm, the wires are intact and if possible reverse the connection and try again. If you are not happy try with another woofer or get your woofer checked with a system at your friends to confrim if the woofer itself could be the issue. If so chcek for the suspension of the woofer, rubbing of the voice coils or the spider being loose. You can repair the woofer by using a good glue to fix or to change the suspension . Hope you try. Good day

How do I get more bass out of the system?

To get a better bass output from the sub. The best place is in the corner next to a wall. Doing that is called corner loading. Like you put a firecracker on your hand you might just get burned, buy if you close your hand...you will have to goto ER. And it is not a boomy sub. Small 5 1/4" woofers. You wand good bass? Take it back and buy klipche. Great sound and bass for a decent price.Or go all out and buy the Bob's Sunfire sub. and tick off all your neighbors. that little thing really pounds. I own two. When I played twister, My celing in my new home cracked. I got picts. If you want something simple like the 321,try Kef instant home therei <<spelling. Has a 10" sub.Bought for my father. Sounds great. Just 2speakers DVD/CD/Radio unit and sub.Simple one wire hook-up. and speakers.
Hope you are able to use this info.

Try filling the inside of the enclosure with insulation [roof insulation will work ] or a small pillow just to see if its the box or the driver rattling if its the driver you might have to secure it to the enclosure with screws or something ,

Front bose speakers and bass module stopped puttimg put sound

If you're saying you hooked the Bose speakers directly to the Yamaha's amp instead of the prescribed way through their own bass module - they're cooked.

You need to take apart tthe sub woofer and check the connection to bass speaker for continuity. It sounds like an internal broken connection to speaker on sub woofer unit.
