Question about Philips SPC700NC Webcam
If you tried the video test in the software you were supplied with the camera, try doing the same thing in windows movie maker2, this way if the same thing happens you know there is a problem with the cam driver streaming the audio and video not the software for recording. If it is still out of sync; as i have had on many occasions with my logitech, sometimes restarting the camera helps, because normally the camera programme starts up as soon as you boot up the pc ready for your cam to be connected. To do this there is normally an icon on right side of taskbar, right click on it and select close, and disconnect cam. Reconnect cam and the software should restart. You can also try using a different usb port as that sometiimes cures the delay.

If it's not working how it should be still check the cam web site for newer drivers, if none then return it as it may be conflicting with one of the sound or graphical drivers.
Check the site for your problems, then in the left column are links to the driver.

Hi,
OK, I disconnected the cam, then I shut down, restarted and connected it back to a different port. I notice time between video and audio is now much less, but still not on the mark. Have you got any more ideas? Do you think I should just take this back and get another brand? What do you suggest?
Thanks so much.
Naomi
Hi,
OK, nothing worked, so the best solution was to just take it back to Wal-Mart. I exchanged it for a Logitech QuickCam IM and it works great!
Thank you so much for your help.
