Pawn shop deal went south

I brought ifp-795 from I-river out of pawn shop with no cd rom. And can not get it to match with my computer.Message read need disk.

Iriver.com has all the software availble to make it work on your p.c. Go to the website and search ifp-795. Download and install the software, you should be fine. You might be prompt in the instalation process... remember "install or continue anyway" good luck.

Owners manual available when you select:
category: Manual

GO
Select the manual (in pdf format, readable wiht Adobe Reader) in the language you prefer.


The software to be installed on the computer should match the firmware of the player and your operating system.
The firmware for the player should match the country you are using the player in, for correct menu language.

Do you have the music manager program in your system? If not, try to install it from your installation cd. If no cd, go to the iriver website and download and install the appropriate model software, in your case (ifp-795)

Pawn shop deal

the iriver series by default is not detected as a usb drive. iriver music manager is needed to transfer files. After a firmware upgrade, the device is usable as a usb hard drive. But you need the music manager software to upgrade
