I have the General Electric EasyCam Pro HO98064, I have the installation CD and also I've got the drivers from www.jascoproducts.com, and every time I try to install the camera Windows shows a message saying something like "the hardware can't be started because there was a problem while installing the hardware, this device can't get started (code 10)" And that's it. I bought this camera 2 years ago and it worked perfect in my previous laptops, an IBM Thinkpad T30 and in an IBM Thinkpad T40, but now I have a Lenovo T60 and it doesn't work. Please, help!!!
A code 10 generally refers to a peice of hardware the is faulty. Assuming all the usb ports have been tried and you have tried on another pc if possible, the camera is not able to start due to a fault, not a software problem. If the camera does work on another pc then the driver you have installed is not suitable for your operating system for the camera to be recognised in Windows, especially if it's Vista as there are still problems and sometimes a WIN XP driver is the answer.
