Question about EliteGroup P4VXASD2 Motherboard

No sound i have a P4VXASD2+v5.0 motherboard and I reformatted my hhdrive, I'm running windowsxp home and when I'm done, there's no sound, I checked on the device manager and the sound device posts a "?" sign, do I need drivers for that? pls. some1 help me, I'm losing hope....

You have to select your revision number to get the
right driver.

It should be typed in on the mainboard.

Hello,
After reformatting the computer you want to make sure you have the drivers for your sound card.
If your sound card is built in you will need the driver set for your motherboard.

Ide0 not working

Check it's not off in the Bios.
Run both the hard drive and CD drive from IDE1
or get an IDE pci card andb run the CD from that.

p4vxasd2+ motherboard DDr memory there is a row of pins by the memory modules that need to be shorted for the ddr memory to work, does anybody know what size jumper caps will fit them.. or which ones i need ?? none came with the mobo, and the ones that were used elswhere on the mobo are to big. thanks
