Pump will not run, electronics operate well

I have a hayward ecostar pool pump that is three months old. Professional instalation and out of the box the electronic unit failed to operate. It took the dealer 10 days to receive a new electronic unit and install it. Now the pump itself does not work. The electronic board tells me it is priming and how long it will run for but no pump action, no noise, no clicking...Nothing. Anybody have an answer. The installer can't be here for a week and I hate to loose chemical balance. Thanks, Joe
