I by my notebook from gateway and i install window xp but now i upgrade it to window vista home basic.i is working good but it say the message in the audio side"no audio output device is install"the gateway tech gave me the vista driver but it doesnt work.now they tell me that the driver for your motherboard is not made yet.now please gave me the solution.my motherboard manufacturer are "quanta blade".
The notebook i assume has the realtek sound chip, but at the moment their site is down so click on the link below and download the Vista sound drivers and see if they work for you, but it could be that your motherboard manufacturer does not yet have any supported sound driver for Visat. http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/REALTEK/
