Component units not displaying color

I think you need to check the color settings on your new LG TV and ensure all cables are securely connected. If the issue persists, you don't have further options except to contact LG support for assistance.

NES help

This is possible a problem with your A/V cords. Try "jiggling" them around when you have the NES turned on, and if there is no picture or sound after that, you may need a new set of the cables.

Hello i have a 19 inch LG M197 WDP monitor/tv, when i switch it on the screen is white with a little gray bock that flashes and slowly moves across the top of the screen reading v3.02.0 which i presume is...

I also had an LG M197WDP tv/Monitor with the same problem. It comes straight on when plugged in, but with the blank screen and scrolling version number across the top.
The solution:
1. Use the remote control (check batteries first)
2. Point at the working TV and press either MENU or EXIT
3. Static should be seen on the screen.
4. Switch to standby using the remote, by preesing POWER button.
5. Switch back on using the POWER button.
All should then be working normally

How do you switch to video mode with no remote

hi,
you cant.
your going to have to get a mid priced universal with extended features. read the packaging. thrift stores sometimes have a bag wall with old remotes so if you have someone who goes to the thrift store sometimes tell them to start looking for either a vcr or tv remote that says emerson on it for you. directv and dish network universals have video input buttons, if you have eith of those providers go to their website, download or find the chapter where it shows how to set up your viseo input. it is shut off by default..

I have a tv (lg 32LG30) but the remote control is not working and I don`t know why? do you know if it is a common trouble on this model?

First, check your batteries. Next, try using a small miniphone plug such as headphone and plug it into the remote sensor jack on the back, do that a couple of times to clean the contact switch inside, see if that will work first, if not, then you may have IR receiver board problem.
