The computer is not accepting the card drivers or resolution out of range ...you may need start in safe mode then reinstall the drivers for the monitor. To start in safe mode you need to press the f8 button while starting up the PC. choose safe mode and wait for the PC to start up... right click my computer then choose properties and hardware and device manager.. look for the display driver and uninstall it..then re-install it and se if it works

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

hope this helps

the usb port that your new hard drive needs is USB 2.0 whereas monitor has 1.0 SO IT WILL NOT WORK.

I have it plugged into my laptop but it just reads 'no signal' - what software do I need to make laptop communicate with monitor?

if your laptop has the correct connection you dont' need any software. on the laptop look for the Fn key usually lower left of the board. hold that down and look to the "F" keys at the top of the board for a picture of a monitor or word LCD. hit that. this will toggle the display mode.

if this doens't work leave the monitor on the unit. turn the unit off and then boot back up. this will auto recognise the monitor. further advanced options can be foudn in your display setting area of the control panel

Acer 1716 seems to start but will not pick up signal from OS

There probably is an error in the hard drive, since its not booting up. I would replace the hard drive, or take it to your local computer repair shop. I hope this helps!

Hp w1907 monitor not detecting vgi input from original HP x3122 computer

It sounds like your computer has been having some trouble for some time. My hunch is that there is nothing wrong with the monitor at all.

Usually, when you see this warning on the screen that there is no signal, the monitor is trying to tell you that it cannot talk to the computer. This means the computer either a.) will not boot or b.) your video card in the computer has stopped working.

Does your computer make all the usual noises when you start it up? Can you hear the hard drive clicking and the fans come on?

Have you reseated the video connection on the back of the tower?

My guess is that something was going out before and it is now gone. The first place I would look to diagnose this problem is the hard drive.

Hard drives fade to fail sometimes, and when they are fading, the entire computer becomes painfully slow.

Hope this helps
good luck

IBM NET VISTA LCD WONT WORK

I would check all the cable and power cord connections to start and check that nothing was knocked loose when you were inside the computer. If applicable make sure the graphics card is seated in its slot. I would also try a different monitor, maybe a CRT. This may allow you to get into the BIOS. There are usually some changes that can made in there that might solve the problem. Is there a Menu button on the LCD? There might be something in there that would help.

Dont connect the monitor via your graphic card, its not installed yet. Connect your minitor via the motherboard.

Good luck to you

Cant connect to my laptop

Hi,

try toggling between the LCD/TV Or LCD/VGA buttons on Your Laptop. Usually A Combination Of fn/lcd/tv Or fn lcd/vga buttons on the laptop Keyboard.
Also check for other configurations in the bios.
finally, try uninstall -reinstall and find new hardware setup.

Hope this Helps Mike @ Compurepair.

Will not load.

my old computer had a problem like this, i think the only way to fix a problem like this would be to reformat your hard drive and reinstall your operating system, which would delete everything on your hard drive...if you do not want to lose the files on your hard drive, you can hook up the hard drive to a different computer as a secondary drive and take the files you need off of it...then put the drive back in the original computer and reformat...after that just put back the files back on the original computer with a flash drive or an external hard drive...
cant think of another way to solve this
