bad receiver in the radio, or, the transmitter on the ipod is bad. try it on another bluetooth source to see if it maintains connection, if not, the ipod could be damaged or bad. If it works with another bluetooth source unit, then the radio has a bluetooth receiver issue.

There is really nothing in the manual to actually show you how to install .You will have to look at the dash and determine how it comes off and just use common sense so you won't damage any thing. You can buy a harness and kit for your specific vehicle and the kit may help you understand how to install it but be careful to not break something that may cost you more than professional installation.Good Luck !

Is the power wire (probably the largest, red) electrically "hot"? There may be a fuse somewhere that you need to install or replace. Is the ground (probably the second-largest, black) well grounded? Without both, the unit will never power up.

Is your power cord plugged in? Are you using a power strip extension cord, if so check it to see if the power surge button hasn't been tripped. If so reset it. See if your wall outlet is working by plugging something else into it. If not working reset your breaker.

You can use either the high level (speaker) or the low-level (RCA's) inputs to the amp, but not both. Choose whichever one sounds the best or is more convenient to install and leave the other disconnected.

You can run the brown wire to a ground and that should work for you. Would you happen to know the importance of the pink wire?
