I have a Hampton Bay sidewinder Model# 34889 ever since we got it, the fan magically turns off on its own and the light goes of and on as well on its own. What can I do to fix this???

Change the frequency settings in the transmitter & receiver. You probably have a neighbor with a fan set to the same frequencies as you now have.

You called customer care about a Hampton Bay & they sent you Minka Aire??? Hampton Bay is a store brand for Home Depot. If The fan came with a remote, you probably need the one for your fan.

Need a new glass cover, please help.

Contact "King of Fans" (kingoffans.com) in Ft. Lauderdale at 800-330-3267. They made or make Hampton Bay fans. I just ordered an arm for mine. Have your UPC number handy.

My outdoor temp will not work

if you've already cleaned the contacts and replaced the battery, your transmitter unit needs to be replaced. You can purchase a new one through the link below. If your clock's model number isn't listed, use the "Contact us" link at the top of the page.

HAMPTON BAY CEILING FAN MODEL # UC7067RC

I have a solution for you. Call 1-866-600-FANS(3267) and give them the numbers on the side of the receiver. Example: 7067FM-22 (6+5) Variations of this receiver are used by many different manufacturers including Hampton Bay,Emerson,Minka Aire, etc... There is a web site that shows a few examples of this receiver available. http://www.fanmanlighting.com
P.S. It helps to know if your Ceiling Fan has a 2nd light above the fan or reverses direction from the transmitter.

Older Model Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan: The Redington II w/Remote Control

Ironically, i am having the same problem with TWO different Reddington's in my house.

One is brand new, just hung a few weeks ago, the other is about 3 years old.

The new one -- the lights are stuck in a constant dim, bright, off, dim bright off, and the fan wont turn at all.

The old one, the lights wont come on and the fan will only spin slow.

Both failed within a day or two of each other, and this is driving me nuts.

I thought it might be the remotes, so I took both remotes and pulled the batteries out of each, but that didnt do anything.

If anyone else is having this problem, please post.
