If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Take it to a repair shop.

Hello. It does not look like there is something wrong with electronics in your TV. Most likely settings for picture are got messed up. It could be TV settings or source (cable box, etc. settings). Using remote control of your TV find picture settings in menu and make sure it set to "standard" instead of "zoom", "stretch", "wide" etc. You might need to do the same with cable/satellite box menu. Some devices have button "picture" or "format" on remote control for this purpose. You can also connect DVD player first and see if picture is stretched as well to determine if it is TV settings are wrong or it is outside of TV set. Regards. Russ.
Well it sounds like your tv is having trouble with your color wheel, this is the part that send the color to your tv, if its defective or its malfunctioning, one of the symptoms will be weird colors one the screen, and if you touch the tv you will fell the tv vibrating.
