Check printing on ML 1750

I am trying to print normal cheque leaves on the printer, however the checks get printed but does not get across the roller to the exit tray, instead falls into the printer tray and has to be pulled out. The checks get printed but the print is not dry and hence can be erased by just wiping the check. Any solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated. The issue here i feel is that the check needs to roll across the second roller after the print? Thanks,Jack

Your check paper might be too thick for the printer. It has been designed to handle paper 20-40lbs. If common paper prints fine, it means that the printer is not able to bring the check paper to the exit tray, where the fuser is located. The fuser is the part that heats and makes the toner print permanent. Try printing your checks through the manual tray.

Why is there black line printed across the page in 3 different areas when something is printed. I changed the toner catridge.

This is nearly always the fault of the toner cartridge. The previous cartridge may have left toner on the transfer roller and this may have contaminated the new toner cartridge. Take the toner cartridge out and inside the printer under where the toner cartridge goes you will see a felt roller that goes across the printer and has a gear at one end. Wipe this roller with a dry clean lint free cloth, rotating it to make sure it is completly clean.
Check the blue coloured drum on the toner cartridge to see if there is a black line going across it. If so clean it with the same dry clean cloth.
If this does not work then I suggest you buy a genuine toner cartridge and try that.

After freeing a paper jam on my Samsung ML 1750 the On line/error

Frequently a very small scrap of paper is caught in the paper path. Take out all the trays and the toner cartridge. Then look very carefully with a flashlight for the smallest scrap left behind.

Sumsung 1750 printer will not print

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.

Samsung ML-1610 Does not print after a paper jam

after checking no paper left on rollers etc, turn printer of for a while and then turn back on and press the paper release button

Check printing

Open HP Solution Center, Click Settings ---> Print Settings.

Click Features tab, select the Paper Type as Plain Paper.

Select appropriate Paper Size under Size. Click Ok.

Now Print Cheques from Quicken.

If the issue still persists, Navigate to Printers folder, right click on the printer icon and click Properties. click Advanced tab, enable Print directly to printer. Click Apply.

This should now Print the Cheques.

If the issue still persists, install alternate drivers in Vista.

Here are the steps:

Click Windows logo ---> Control Panel ---> Printers.
1) Click Add Printer
2) Select local printer
3) Choose Port as LPT1
4) Choose HP and then select HP Deskjet 6500

After the driver is installed, perform below steps:

1) Right click on HP Deskjet 6500 printer icon in Printers folder
2) Click on Properties
3) Click on Ports tab
4) Choose USB001
5) Click Apply and click Ok

Now try to print.

Poor Quality (black line)

Check the temperature settings. If all of the text and barcode is clear and not fuzzy, check the platten roller for low areas, cuts, or other deformity.

Samsung ML-1450 printer

Sounds like your PCU is starting to fail. There is a cleaner roller that removes any remained toner and this could be shot. Try replacing the PCU. If this makes no difference it could be the fuser though this si less likely.
