I cannot get into my computer at all. When I power up it looks as if its going to turn on but then a screen pops up thats not like the regular screen to log in to your user account. I have Windows Xp Professional. In the Username space it says "Dell" but has no password. THe PC wasn't password protected since I am the only one who uses it. Any suggestions? I cannot access anything in the computer b/c I cannot log into it at all. Help!

Re: Cannot get into my computer at all
Try logging in with a different user. XP pro comes with the administrator user by default!
When you're given the prompt to enter a username!
Enter the username Administrator with no password!
If an error comes up then that means that the administrator account has a password on it!
also it could look different cause a setting was changed in Control Panel->User Accounts->Change the way users logon Use Welcome screen was unchecked!
I think what you are saying is that the laptop starts up and reaches a Login Box but when you try to login, it doesn't work! If its not that then please let me know!

you have to hold in the button on the top to turn the phone on you have to hold that button in in till on the screen it just pops up either restart or shut down then you slide it will tell you to slide and then you see that your screen is just black so then you keep on pressing the button that you held in before and I apple will pop up and then you wait for your screen to come on and that is it but when the apple pops up don't hit anything just leave it in till the screen comes on.
Have itunes up and ready ,next turn off your ipod now while holding the menu button and plug in the usb cord.keep holding the home button and a picture will pop up,it should look like a usb cord and a computer, now look on you computer screen and a little message should pop up saying itunes has detected an ipod or something like that.click on it and it will have some stuff about the ipod ,(you can let go of the home button now)but click restore.Last it will say if your sure becuse all your stuff will delete and go to the factory settings click ok them a whole bunch of stuff will pop up and will load so leave it for a bit but after all that turn it on and it should work.(PS:it is normal that the screen will go back before it restores itself.
At power on / power up, look for the key during the bootup (black screen with white text), that allows you to enter SETUP. If none designated such as F1, F2 F10 etc, then quickly click the delete button a few times and that may get you into setup. You may have to turn off the computer if you miss that window of time if it rfequires pressing the delete button a few times. Keep an eye out for the Enter Setup key though. To turn off the computer press and hold the power button 'till is shuts down and resart the process until you get to the setup screen in bios. In setup bios environment, look for set factory defaults and then save and restart. That may solve the issue of the lockup.
