My daughter is on her second ilo MP3 player in 2 months....when she turns it on and it goes through the process it will only go to 66% on the uploading files screen. It will then turn off and back on and start that same thing over again but it will never finish so she can listen to her music. Anyone know a solution?

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off,
hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer
while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button
for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into
recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says
Found New Hardware Wizard.

I also have windows vista. I inserted the disc that came along with the ilo mp3 player and it accepted and recognizes the player. My husband and I bought it for our daughter for Christmas and she loves it. I would suggest uninstalling the program from the disc then reinstalling it. It took the 1st time for us when we downloaded. I hope this help's you out.
If you still have the reciept you can return it to the company if there is a warranty on it(if the warranty hasn't expired) But if you don't have the reciept then try taking off all of the songs then putting some of them back on. The more you have on the more likely you are to encounter problems like this. If that doesn't work then I can't help you anymore. Sorry. Also you might want to look at a trouble shooting guide on the internet for the exact model of the mp3 player. I hope your daughter will feel better if it works.
