My Mitsubishi VS-60707 Problem...Need Help!

My Projection TV has lines running horizontally but roll vertically. When it first started, It would do it on startup for about 10 to 20 mins. then flip to an great picture. I can see the picture faily good behind the lines. Very Annoying!!!! I have heard there are problems with the PiP board. If anyone that has had this problem, please post any feedback. Thanks in advance for any help on this. Rino

I am having the same problem as well, It would roll at first for just a few minutes at start up but know it does it continuously. It is so annoying that I thought about rolling it out to the curb.

There are two common problems with this set that cause the symptoms you described. Both of them are caused by capacitors: CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01. CHECK C2P08 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P03. They are located on the signal PCB. Both capacitors are inexpensive and will more than likely solve your problem. Hope this helps.

Vs-45607 was a hand me down and did not come with a remote. the picture has very fast rolling vertical lines........Help!

Typically you can open the back case and you will see two screws, one for vertical scroll and one for horizontal scroll. with a rubber head flat head you can adjust this. Please be advised this is very dangerous and has high voltage. Please get a tech to look at this, he must be familiar with this TV.

Horizontal lines

Sounds like you need a service call to check your convergence amps. This is not a repair you should attemp on your own. More parts are probably defective than just the amps. Fuse and resistors in the amps circuit.

Had horizontal Lines replaced now have error 21 xray circuit

White horizontal line (no vertical deflection)
Check / replace R548, R549
Sound but no picture except for a couple of horizontal colour lines
Replaced the frame chip TDA8356, set now ok
Severe vertical jitter on picture, horizontal sides of picture ragged
Replacing the TDA4950 cured the fault
White line down centre of screen (top to bottom}
Replace C805

Mitsubishi VS-60707 60 in. Rear Projection Television

When it gets better after warm up it can be a capacitor in the 160 Volt high voltage circuit or a cold solder joint. these 2 thinks would be my best guess on this set.

Horizontal lines and screen bounce

You have some leaky filter caps - C2C52 = 10MFD 50 VOLT (off base of Q2C51 on signal board) also check C2P05 = 100 MFD 16 VOLT off pin #3 of IC2P01 and C2P08,C2P03 = 100 MFD 16 VOLT

Mitsubishi VS-60707

Have same problem on 42in. Problem appears to be a short on one of the boards. If hold the cable input connection and give it a jiggle, it will usually pop in.
