Canon iP6000D - reads "No paper"

I've had this printer for quite awhile now and just recently it stopped working... I press print and it tells me to load paper even when there is paper in there... It makes different sounds when the gears are rotating inside... Anyone know how to fix?

Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it but I do know how to get around it. Or at least on mine I do. My printer does the same thing to me even though I have plenty of paper. I've just kept inserting paper into the printer until it finds that "level" that it needs to say it has paper. If you find that level you can either continue putting in paper from that level on or put something underneath the paper like a way to keep the paper high enough so that it reads it properly. I know it's not a solution but it's a loophole of sorts.

Canon Pixma iP 6600D printing problem.. went to print a scanned document .... paper began to feed in askew from autopaper feeder . Printing process stopped. the process was repeated a couple more times...

To fix the paper feed problem, Clean / rub each roller with a damp cloth with a dab of detergent.
Check for paper residue , especially near the paper empty flag,
Then reset the printer:
First power off the printer. Next, while holding STOP/RESET button, power on the printer.
While holding POWER button, release STOP/RESET button. Then push STOP/RESET button twice.
Wait about 20-30 second until the LED shows "0?. Then push STOP/RESET button four times.
Finally push POWER button twice. Last step is to turn off the printer by pressing the POWER button one last time.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Joe

You do know that you can use 4 x 6 photo paper in the paper feed? or else you have to tuck it into that little try under the printing outlet and be sure to click the change of feed button on the upper right of the console.

Printer will not print

Try Closing and opening the paper output tray then press resume button on the printer while the printer is powered on,check the paper feeder ensure that there is nothing jamming up,if this doesn't work then let a canon technician have a look at it, the problem is minor.Hope you succeed
