When i look at my sounds i can see all of my ringtones (i have a LOT of them)... then when i go to the "select ringtone" screen, it won't even show half of my ringtones as options... it's not because i have so many because i deleted some and no new ones are available... can anyone help me?
Won't be able to set the ringtone and the manual that I got was only up to page 50 and to set the ringstyle is on page 58 and also SSetting the Phone theme is on page 62 and I don't have all these pages in the Manual. Can the motorola company send me those pages that I have been missing?
Thanks for whoever could help.
Yes u can set ring tone what ever you have in phone memory only( if it in sd card u cant set the tone, 1st move the ring tone from sd card to phone memory with format of Mp3... then u can njoy ring tone
Omg stupid people they updated the razor so you cant set your sounds as ringtones, that would be free. get what im sayin they are screwing us and trying to get us to pay for ****, how the hell am i supposed to set buy left for dead soundtracks verizon you mutherfuckers!!!
I am having the same problem. I have a Motorola w375 and I have bluetoothed an MP3 from my computer on to my phone. It has showed up in my media gallery however it doesn't give you the option to "apply as" ringtone like my purchased ringtones. any fix?
I was researching this for a friend and discovered this supposed solution on the following forum. Souns a little complicated, but not bad. It will require downloading another program which is freeware but you will also need the motorola drivers for the phone (usually come with motorola phone tools)
Hi there, I understand now the difference between a sound being on the phone and the sound card. But how do I find where to format it into an MP3? I want to record my own sounds and set them as ringtones. They told me I could do this with the razor, but I can't figure out how to, and the manual isn't clear either. Thanks

Go to settings> Sounds and Vibration >Ringtone. Under Ringtone, scroll down the list to the bottom where you will see "Add from phone". Click on this + Add from phone and it will take you to your download ringtones. Hope this will help. I am using a Samsung Edge phone and hopefully it's the same procedures. Some apps will allow you to change the ringtones within the app, so you don't have to go to the phone settings to do anything.
by going to settings and then sounds. But first you need to buy some ringtones or make some in itunes using instructions here.
Ringtones for the whole phone are set in the Settings app in Sounds-->Ringtones. You can set individual ringtones for any of your contacts in the Contacts app by editing an individual entry. The ringtone (and textone) fields will appear when you touch the "edit" button in Contacts.
ok heres how 1. go to settings and look for sounds settings 2. go down until you find ringtones or alert tones 3. put a ringtone for one caller 4. go to ringtones and select your ringtone 5. select a ringtone for a different caller (not select for all) hope this helps
click on the message inbox ,then go the ringtones then stroll down o sound .selected ringtones you want, then it will gave you a option to set a ringtone for this person ..click on set as ringtones and that will allow you ringtones you assign for the person
to delete ringtones, open the file explorer application from progams. navigate to device\my documents\ my ringtones , select the ones you want and delete. nice and ease. set a new ringtone either in the sound and notifications section of settings, or on a file, tap and hold on the screen on a file you wish to have as a ringtone and select "set a ringtone". if you are looking for these as a message tone you need to convert the file to a .wav file and import this to the windows folder on the device then select in the sounds and notifications tab in settings.
assigning tones to contacts can only be done if your contacts are outlook contacts, not sim contacts. open and edit a contact, scroll down to ringtone, although again with these i belive the file must be a .wav file and be located in the windows directory.
I got ringtones from my microSD card on my Pantech Duo to set as ringtones by using another phone. I put my microSD card in another phone and bluetoothed them to my pantech duo. When i had bluetoothed all the ringtones i wanted onto my pantech duo, i removed my microSD card from the other phone and put it back in my pantech duo. Then i went to "Settings" on my pantech duo and then "sounds". The first option is "ringtones" so i used the circle button to select the ringtone i wanted and hit "done".
