One morning I powered on and all convergence was lost. I had no controls to adjust it, nothing worked, so I replace the convergence board, and convergence module. Now I am able to adjust my convergence just fine but when I power the TV off I loose the convergence and have to redo it every time I turn the TV back on. On another note when I try the auto focus feature it displays a message "Check Factory Settings". Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Loss of convergence after powering off.
You must enter the service mode and align your convergence and save it to the epromm also activate the auto focus to activate the sensors , power on /mute-1-8-2- / press enter to save and before you exit activate the focus key on the remote ,very inportant to do the last step./g

Check the Pico fuses fromthe power supply to the main board, the convergence board. trace using the power output from the power supply. if you notice any suspected components visibly showing out a fault like a capacitor or a burnt resistor, check it out and replace.
Check for possible dry solder joints or failure of the IC.
Remove plug off while checking and test by tapping board for any loose connection.
If adjustment has reached its limit by the user control, then the problem is associatd with a damaged convergence board/s. This is not a recommended DIY operation as it requires motre than just replacement of the boards that control this. The convergence died because of other problems on possibly the power board and would need proper testing equipment and realignment using a hatch pattern generator. Parts $3-400.00 + labour
Use sanyo ICs, also I think you have the wrong number for your tv. The best thing now would be to have a tech. repair the tv since it seems to be more than you can handle, you probably damaged the digital convergence board and if you continue to mess with it, will cause irreparable damage to it.( sorry but I will not be able to respond to any further questions)
Since you have the convergence options in your menu i would figure that you do not have the common fl231 fuse problem....Now is any part of the picture good. is the picture a bow tie. if you go into red and blue manual option will the crosshairs move up and down and left and right. If you have the bowtie or push in fromtop and bottoml then the likely problem is what is call the convergence power board. if you do have some control over the crosshairs then it may be the convergence amp board. convergence is controled by three diffrent cuicit boards. if you have to replace these boards it may just may need someone like a tech to do a serivce convergence.
If they tested the convergence board and thats ok, the only other Items it could be are the Digital convergence unit or the Velocity comando units that control the convergence yokes. If the convergence isnt adjustable with magic focus adjustments wont help it. Is the repair shop an authorized samsung repair facility? If you need more assistance let me know.
