Sounds like a bad color wheel----remove lamp---the wheel faces it--look
for missing pieces or the wheel shattered---these are known for the

If you hear any winding, whirling or screeching noise (Color Wheel symptoms) If there is any vibrations in the TV (Color Wheel symptoms) you would need to change the color wheel.
Ballast Lamp provide back light in DLP TV and if its bad / broken TV wont power up. If lamp is weak, dark or less bright picture will come in screen.
Color wheel is responsible for colors in picture and if its broke, TV wont power up and common problem with color wheel is high pitch noise while it spins.

Not sure if this will help but I read in the manual that if you have
a clicking sound that the cable setting and the air setting are both turned on...Good Luck
