Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player:
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You
The device requires Widows Media Player 10 or higher in order to load songs onto it. I suggest trying to find a download for it. Sorry I can't be of more help. :(
It would help if we had the model # and manufacturer name for your player, BUT - your player might have an MTP mode and a USB/MSD mode. Consult your user's manual for details on how to change it (or post your manufacturer/model# here)

Load the Philips software onto your computer.
You have to load the songs onto the player using WMP (Windows Media Player) 8 or 9.
Connect the player using the USB cable.
Run the Philips Go Gear Digital Audio Player software. Upgrade the firmware. This will format the player and erase everything you have done so far.
Start WMP. Click on the Synch tab.It will have 2 window panes. In the right side, at the top, there is a drop list. Select the player from the list.
Now create a synch list by clicking on edit playlist. Once you have added the songs, click Start Synch.
That's all there is to it.
