Hi

Try thiis

1.Right click on MY computer ->Properties->Hardware->Device manager.

2.You will get Device manager window popping out.

3.Scroll down to "Universal Serial BUS controllers".Click on the (+) sign.

4.Check for the "USB Composite Device" and right click on it, click Uninstall.(IMPORTANT NOTE:wE HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, TO KNOW WHETHER IS THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, RIGHT CLICK ON USB COMPOSITE DEVICE AND PROPERTIES,look for wat location says, Eg -LOCATION : HP DESKJET F2100

5.Disconnect the USB and reboot the PC.

6.Connect the USB after reboot, you will get popup "Found new hardware".Then the Drivers will be installed Automatically.

The printer connected to your system requires drivers to function. Drivers act as the translators between the printers and the operating system and issues with the drivers mean that problems would come up with the use of the printer. If the driver is unable to initialize and sustain communication between the printers and the OS, printer would show offline. All users having the printer showing offline issue are recommended to check the printer drivers installed on the system. if the printer drivers are found incorrect or outdated, then the drivers would have to be resolved to solve the issue. get more help to fix printer offline error .

Printer showing Offline status

Open the Start menu and click on the "Printers and Faxes" icon. This will open a window with a list of the printers currently set up on your computer.

Step 2 Double-click on the icon of the printer you want to change to online. A pop-up window detailing all current print jobs will open.

Step 3 Go to Printer in the menu bar of the pop-up window and uncheck "Use Printer Offline." This action will change the printer from offline to online.

My printer shows "offline". How do I get it online?

Did you recently change the ink cartridges=? Did you use third party or refilled cartridges?

If so, that may be the problem. Some printers have logic in them to drop offline if ink other that the manufacturer's is used.

If you are using factory new ink, please let me know and I/ll continue to try and assist you.

If you replaced a new ink cartridges and not solved your problem; you need to change PCA Main Logic Borad

Tryin to print a page but my printer status says offline,how do i get it back on line

When turn on is online? But when start to print it's go offline? Two posibillitis : head error or lost electricity from board. Try to change both head first. Last, open case, check board. may be some waste ink there.
