I updated my firmware, like Lexmark asked me to do (version E), and now my printer will not print with any color ink. I have three full color cartridges in the printhead. I have triple checked to make sure my preferences are still set on using any or all available ink. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you're using a remanufactured/refilled cartridge, the printer will not be able to recognize those cartridges after the firmware update. The firmware update restricts use of refilled/remanufactured cartridges. That's to prevent damaging the printhead.

Try uninstalling the printer from the printers and faxes folder. Then remove any lexmark software that may have downloaded with it. Reinstall using the original CD.If you have no Cd then go to lexmark's website and download them.
