What do I set tv on to play video

Well depending on if your tv is a high def or not but if it is you would put it in HDMI mode 1 or HDMI mode 2. If it is a standard tv you would put it in video mode through the tv directly

I have a alpine mrd-m300 amp and it will come on the voltage meter comes on and everything comes on i just get no sound to subs i hooked it up to another amp and it work just can get sound of of this amp...

Make sure your safety mode is off. Go to mode 9 and ENT and make sure it is off. If it still dont work you proabably have bad RCA wre or speaker wire. Hope this helps!

My amp won't play bass everything is hooked up

I have a similar problem with my 2012 civic, I hooked up my 1800w kenwood mp to my 2 12" w6s and 1 song plays and sounds great, the rest of my songs have no bass from the subs, just the car speakers sound normal so I dont know what the hell thats all about. I thought it was a wiring issue but I can play the one song all day and it sounds perfect so any suggestions? thanks in advance

Ground Wire Hook-up

MTX has the hookup diagram here: http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/manualsQuickInstall/amps/RTP251D_InstallSheet.pdf If you have the original wiring harness, the ground wire is normally black. The amplifier case or chassis is ground connnected on amps I've seen as well.
