Noise clanking, hard to pedal

check the chain tension, this could be caused by the chain being too tight. Loosen the rear wheel nuts, slide the wheel slightly forward and retighten the nuts. See if that helps. If it is still hard to pedal then the crank's bottom bracket may need to be adjusted and could require special tools that your local bike shop would have.

My Cranbrook bike makes a clanking noise when I pedal it.

I got a 26" Huffy

Measure it accurately or try someone else's and see if it is an exact fit. And there are a LOT of seat post sizes differing by .1 mm so you don't want to get the wrong one. If you go to a Bicycle Shop they can solve your problem very quickly.

Will not go when pedaling does something got to be tighten

Actually, it would seem something needs to be dislodged from unwanted contact somewhere. LOOK at it. Do the wheels spin freely by hand? WE can't see it.

Take it to a Local Bike Shop and have them evaluate what's compatible with it.
