Can i plug a mini fridge into a surge protector?

They are useless after one power surge and the breaker is probably reading the faulty earth leakage from the protector
logical that it the oven works anywhere but trips on the protector , then the protector is faulty

If it was plugged into a surge protector, check the surge protector warranty. There are A LOT of surge protectors that will cover damage to items plugged into them through their warranty system. I've had full home computers and TV's replaced by surge protector companies to avoid having a hit to homeowners insurance.

Turn off, unplug from wall, use surge protector and plug fridge back into the protector, turn power on, set operating temp etc. Cheers

Your microwave is pulling more amps than the surge protector can handle. Remove the surge protector from the circuit and plug oven into wall outlet. Preferrably a GFCI circuit. Or you could puchase a surge protector with a higher amp tolerance.

There should be a surge release button on the surge protector to bring the protector back to normal (should be red in color) Some surge protection devices have this option so just check if your s has it. If that is not the case than I think that you might have blown a fuse in your TV.Might just have to open it up and change the fuse within with the same ratings, but please be careful because do have high voltages so get an experienced technician to do this for you.

Do they run at the same time? The two items consume
a lot of power. Check the voltage when they are turned on. If the voltage is below 90 Volts. The power surge at your Taco is great. Then, the surge protector could not
handle the current inrush that's why it's blown off. You
must install a surge protector that can handle the Taco
current inrush.

plug in a light into surge protector and see if it works if not surge protector is bad or battery is shot if it has one!!i have numerous surge protectors that went bad try plugging printer into wall outlet and if working its surge protector!!!

I noticed that my refrigerator, kenmore freezer, and stove were all not on. This has not ever been a problem before, so I unplugged the surge protector and reset the outlet. I then plugged the refrigerator and the kenmore freezer to the surge protector and I noticed when I plugged the kenmore freezer it just shorted the surge protector. I then just plugged in the refrigerator and oven to the surge protector with no problems. I tried to plug kenmore freezer to other outlet and same result "a short

defective relay/overload combination if you replace them and it works, there's you problem, if you replace them and the problem continues, suspect a faulty compressor.

No appliance manufacturer recommends the use of aftermarket surge protectors. They pull high amperage at start and exceeds most protectors. You can have a whole house surge protector installed in your main panel by a licensed electrician. They are the only method that works when serious surges happen.
