Sounds like there might be some thread stuck in the bobbin shuttle area. Refer to the users manual for your machine to see how to disassemble the bobbin shuttle and race to check for thread. It would be a good idea to put a drop or two of sewing machine oil on it while you have it apart.
1. is the needle the right one for the machine? 2. is the needle properly inserted and oriented correctly for the machine? 3. Is the bobbin inserted correctly, so it unspools correctly for the machine?
If that all looks right, then take the needle plate off and watch the shuttle hook. It should be very close to the needle when the needle is at its bottom most part of the stroke. If it is well behind, your machine\'s timing is retarded. You\'ll need to take it in for adjustment.
did you get the needle in correctly--all the way up into the needle holder & the flat side of the needle goes to the back of the machine
also after you check the needle & it's in correctly it's very possible that the machine is out of time & a sewing machine repair technican would have to retime the machine
Drop-in bobbin: Note: thread must change direction when entering bobbin shuttle notch. Usually bobbin will turn counter-clockwise when threaded properly.
1. hold bobbin so that the tail of thread is facing to left. 2. drop bobbin into bobbin shuttle. 3. pull thread toward you. 4. guide thread into notch and pull to left so that slot engages thread. 5. pull thread diagonally across shuttle toward back of machine. 6. draw bobbin thread up through needle plate with threaded needle.
