There are two ways to fix your problem. First open your cover, then press the small white rounded reset button in the lower frame. The second method - unplug your fax, then hold down the stop and start key while pluging in the fax. When you see memory clear on the screen let go of the stop and start key. I believe the screen will say 1 for yes 2 for no for memory clear, press 1. The second method will ERASE every thing in memory that includes program #'s and transaction report setting.

Hold down the stop and start key while turning on the fax, let go when you see 1 for yes 2 for no for memory clear. Press 1.

Dial it as you would dial from a regular phone.

Check and see if your fax has a power save button next to your LCD screen. Pressing it will store everything into memory or you could do a flash memory clear however you will lose everything that is stored in memory(RX and TX only). Press FUNCTION , 9,*,8,#,7 then press start, next press your # key to scroll to flash memory. Press start. This should fix it.
