Re: Sony vaio VGN-FS640/W Keyboard Error
Check the key isn't stuck down first, if not you may have a corupt driver, go to my computer< right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager and then in the next window, go down to keyboards, click on the'+' sign and right click on the line and select uninstall.
Restart you pc and the keyboard will be re installed automatically and the driver loaded.

Does this only happen with the keys on the right side of the keyboard? Check to insure that the NumLock key is not on. There should be a key on the keyboard, usually on the upper right that will say something like NumLk or NumLock, press this key and see if things go back to normal.
It appears that the function key is stuck on. try an external keyboard. if the external keyboard has the same problem its an issue with windows but if not you could be looking at a replacement keyboard. hope this helps Peter
