Hi maybe you could help me... I have a problem with my LCD Cornea CT1700... When I light it on the monitor will go off after 10, 15, 30,60 or more minutes? I have 3 monitors with around the same problem... I have to disconnect the monitor for 5 to 10 minutes and I can use it again for a while... What could be the problem? They were brand new and they had already this problem... Also the problem will occur immediately if I change the resolution of my screen... Any part I could change to correct the problem?
It could be something as simple as your power settings in control panel> power options, then the first window called power schemes pops up and all monitor, harddisk and system standby should be set at never. Also check on you monitor menu for any power saving options and turn them off. If the monitors still turn off then there has to be a deeper fault with the monitors and not with the power options.

The problem is with the monitor not with the power saving options of the computer... I want to know which part is involve with this problem... So I could change it...
I have the exact same problem with a Cornea CT1700 LCD monitor, When I read this I again set up the monitor and powered the computer. It ran perfectly for 13 minutes then the desktop disappears. I can still see the backlighting and can run all the menu functions but that's about it. I see that micropion submitted on Apr 28, 2007 never seemed to resolve the problem.
