i had the same problem, it locked by itself, On the right side of the yp-p2 there are two bottons (see picture) one to put it on and the other on top("hold" word is on it)
I pushed the on botton until i saw the lock in the screen and then i swiped my finger up to the hold button and it started working again.
Turn on your computer, turn on Windows Media Player...hook up your MP3 player and it should recognize the player and allow you to put music on it.

The video must be a MPG (MPEG), AIV, WMV, ASF, SVI, MP3, RM (RMVB), MOV or SMF type of video. If it is not, try and find or download a video converter. Also remember on Samsung Media Studio click menu, enviorment settings, general configuration, my PC and make sure that you have checked in all the checkboxes of video file types.
It is possible to download text files onto the Samsung Yp-P2.
You can use the Samsung Media Studio to download the document onto the device. The only format I know works for sure is *.txt, haven't tried other formats
