Have you been already check the speaker does it good?. if ok, tried to hooked up a powered pc speaker at the audio output jack of the tv. turn on, if you can get sound there the cause it would be bad amplifier circuit but if you can not get sound from there you have bad sound processor at the board.

It is most likely one of the transformers on the inverter board. They are rectangular in shape and there are 8 of them. Replacing the inverter board usually fixes the TV. db

unplug it from the wall and hold down the power button for a few seconds to discharge any residual energy left inside the TV's electronics. Then plug it back in and see if there is any picture, even if only for a moment.
Some sets will have a reset sequence that restores all the factory defaults. This will sometimes bring your TV back around if it happens to get stuck on stupid. You'll have to search Google for your model's reset button sequence. Often it will be something like: With the power off, hold down the INPUT and VOL+ buttons at the same time. Click the power button and continue holding down the INPUT and VOL+ for a few seconds.
Your's may be different, or not at all.
I've seen this fix a TV before. But I've also seen this symptom on a TV that had a bad logic main board. Another thing to try would be a firmware update. See if your TV has a USB port available to do this. It will often be labeled as "SERVICE". Again, you'll need to search the web for more instructions, and for the firmware file itself. Often these can be obtained from the manufacturer's web site.

It is under warranty, I would take it back and ask for exchange, bad sign that it goes out in less tahn 30 days.

If the Vizio logo(power indicator) isn't coming on when the set is plugged in, most likely you have a issue with the power supply. Your standby power supply isn't working, and without it, you will have a dead set.
