I need a diagram or schematic of the carb showing the throttle and choke linkages so I can set my linkage for choke and throttle

U need a service manual unless you know someone who knows what is what. Nest time you will take a picture in advance before you disassemble something.

My 5horse tecumseth snow blower stalls when I engage the auger, just rebuilt the carb

Make sure your engines governor linkage is moving freely. It is the linkage that the throttle goes to on the engine and then a lever from that linkage goes back to the carb. The throttle cable works through the governor to adjust to changing loads. Your linkage connections may be crossed limiting throttle opening as well. Look online for a throttle linkage photo and compare. Be careful and good luck!

Just got an 86 monye carlo ss 305 the carb will not open up under full throtle and transmissin wont go into passing gear, a float was installed in carb and high performance cam had been installed just...

They might have missed hooking up the vacuum line for the passing gear when they put the intake back on. There will be a steel line near the firewall coming up from the transmission. It normally plugs into a nipple on the intake behind the carb. If you can't find one just splice it into an existing line, except the distributor line.
The carb problem is most likely a matter of the linkages not being put back on properly, usually on the choke side because it has a lock outfor the secondarys when the choke is on. See if you can get the instruction sheet from the carb kit they used. It will show you what the linkage is supposed to look like when it is hooked up properly. There is also a vacuum switch on the secondarys. Make sure it has vacuum from the front of the carb and that it pulls tight when you start the car and lets off when you shut it off. Hope this helps.

When i start the mower the engine just revs all the way up. i think the governor is stuck wide open any suggestions

Sometimes crud and gunk build up on the carb ,carb linkage and governor linkage, preventing free movement of those parts. First I would clean all linkage points with a spray can of carb cleaner, and then lubricate these points with WD40 or some other lubricant. It's also a good idea to lubricate the control cables and controls.
