Question about Dell 3300MP Multimedia Projector

No lit / projected image even with a new bulb!

When I power on my 3300MP, only the display on the unit lights, and states "warming up" and flashes "3300MP" for a few minutes. No light is projected. Eventually, orange light comes on and says "Lamp Failure." This also occurred after purchasing and replacing with a new 3300MP bulb. Any ideas? I have a feeling it is hardware and I might be out of luck, since warranty is expired. Unit only has about 100 hours of use. Thanks for your help and time!

We replaced the new bulb with another bulb we knew to be working. Same issue. Based on another posting, I did take about the projector to look for loose circuit boards. No luck.

I also have the same problem - bulb replaced and still does not work - any further suggestios for a fix other than visit e-bay or buy a decent projector in the first place

The voltage lamp board is bad

Let me add...

I had one 3300MP and removed/replaced the bulb to dust off as it was overheating. There is a small metal like switch that resets the bulb replacement (physical switch - take a good look) -- This helped to reset the first time I did this, but doesn't reset the hours on the chip.

However, since this bulb was problematic for me, I have done this a couple of times and since has stopped powering the bulb now. So, thinking it was the bulb, I replaced the bulb, -- No good... So, thinking it was the projector, I bought a new/refurbished one on ebay -- tested the NEW bulb - NO GOOD. now I have TWO PROJECTORS, THREE BULBS and NOTHING THAT WORKS...

We have a Panasonic PT-50LC13, the buld died and the unit would no longer light up. We replaced the bulb as noted and the unit still won't light. Do we need to reset something so the unit recognizes a new...

hi I just read that this tv needs a few minutes to warm up i am going to .try it. iam having same problem. i had a tv tech install a bulb and it worked .
but i had a dispute with the tech about the cost of the fix and he took out his bulb and all though i purchased a new housing with bulb in it so that i didn,t have to touch the bulb, when i put it in i got nothing but green to flashing red to yellow. so if my bulb is good and the tech didn't
do something malicous than something has to be reset so that the tv will work because not even the sound of the tv worked.

if you get the ansewr to this please email to [email protected]
