Consumable replacement message

I actually have the 351 but it is pretty much the same machine as the 350. My problem is that after replacing the Paper Dust Remover/Ozone Filter and the Transfer Roller Unit the message to replace these items keeps popping up. It seems there is no place in the menu to reset this. It acts like I never replaced the parts. Any answers? Thanks.

I replaced the transfer roller unit and the paper dust filter but the machine still says it needs to be replaced. I followed the directions stated above; however it took me to a password enter screen. Please advise

You need to go into service mode to reset these parts. Start by hitting the "Utility" button on the control panel. Then select "Meter Count" from the menu. Next hit "Details". Then you need to hit the following buttons in this order, STOP,0,0,STOP,0,1. This will bring you into the service mode on this machine. From there you should select "Counter". From the Counter menu select "Special parts counter". Highlight the parts you replaced and hit the "C" on the control panel to clear the counter. This process should be done for any parts that you replace and will prevent the message from popping up.

How do youfind scan count

Hi,

If the scan count of your fi-6130 scanner exceeded 2,00,000 scans, then you may have to replace the consumable parts. After replacement of the consumables, you need to rest the consumable counters. To check/reset the Pick/Brake Roller Counter, please follow the steps provided below:

1.Turn on the scanner, and confirm if it is connected correctly to your computer.
2.From the "start" menu, select "All Programs", then select "Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows", then click on "Software Operation Panel"
3.In the dialog box displayed, from the list on the left of the panel, select "Device Setting"
4.Click the "Clear" button beside the replaced consumable under "Page Counter"
5.Click the "OK" button on the displayed confirmation message. The counter is reset to 0
6.Click the "OK" button to close the "Software Operation Panel" dialog box

Hope the above information is helpful.

Thanks & regards,

How do i adjust the valves on a 69 351 windsor motor

The only 351 Windsor with solid lifters is the 351 "R" 4V
1971-1972 Boss 351-HO. All others are hydraulic. To solve noise in hydraulic lifters, replace them and check push rod ends for wear (actually you really should change them, too) but many guys go "cheap charlie" on this.

Replaced the drum in our 8220, however we still receive a message to change the drum. Do we need to reset?

This message would continue to appear if the drum counter was not reset when you replaced the drum. To reset the drum:
  1. Open the front cover.
  2. Press the Clear/Back key.
  3. Press 1 to reset.
  4. Close the front cover, pressing firmly on each side until they click into place.

Brand new Print cartriges not being detected...

If 350 & 351 are the original cartridge, you can ask to the cartridge seller for a guarantee. There is a chip inside the cartridge, sometimes the printer firmware failed to detect the chips. Or you can try to find, by Googling "C4272 Resetter Software" to download it.

Just push them in horizontally ie. completely straight. You have to push pretty hard - just make sure you don't overdo it - until they go no further.
