SOURCE: Suunto watch keeps resetting itself. Changed

You wouldnt think a whole lot could go wrong with a Suunto battery change. If they had trouble getting the coin access back off and unscrewed the case then the button contacts might be out of line causing your problem. You might also check to be sure that they put the right battery in and that there are no pry marks as sometimes there are problems getting the battery out. If any excessive pressure was placed on the circuit board and it cracked it will need to be replaced.

Suunto core

On your Suunto Core press and hold the mode button for two seconds to get to the menu.

Select "Units."

Under "Units" select "Time."

Under "Time" you have the ability to select "12" or "24."

I replaced the battery as I have many times imy 2005 suunto s6 watch, but this time the display remains blacked out...none of the buttons work or make any noise. The battery is a 2032 and is brand new.

Tough one but here goes. 1 New battery does not necessarily mean good battery 2 Determine the battery is inserted with the correct side up. 3 Is there a reset. Possibly a small hole that you poke a paper clip into. 4 Try holding all the buttons in at the same time for a couple seconds 5 Go see a watchmaker,
good luck

T6C failed after working OK for 1 day

Try re-pairing the belt pod with the wrist-watch computer. Below text comes from page 37 of the T6c users manual.

If you replace the belt battery or are having troubles with the signal reception, you need to re-pair your belt with your Suunto t6c.

To re-pair the belt:
1. Remove the belt battery
2. Push the (new) battery into the compartment positive side down.
3. In your Suunto t6c, enter the settings menu and enter GENERAL.
4. Scroll to PAIR with [Lap +] and [Light -] and enter with [Mode].
5. Scroll to HR BELT with [Lap +] and [Light -].
6. Activate pairing with [Mode].
7. Put the battery in with the positive side up and close the cover.

I'm trying to reset the altimeter and sea pressure but the watch. I've followed the instructions but the watch more often that not reverts back to default settings or does not respond to the calibrations...

If you continue to have problems with your watch, and the instructions in the user manual don't resolve your problem, you may have to return the watch to Suunto.
Your watch must be registered with them, you'll need the serial number of the watch, which is located on the back case. You'll have to get an RMA from Suunto in order to send it back to them.
Here's their warranty info: http://www.suunto.com/en-us/Support/Warranty-information/

Suunto watch keeps resetting itself. Changed battery a few weeks ago and now in the last week, it will reset itself. After you set it to the right time it could be fine for hours or minutes before it...
