Did you check, nothing is in the paper feeder? Could be just a little piece of paper or a staple is blocking proper functioning of the feeder.
Keep the paper try clean and take care you never drop or leave anything in the printer, that does not belong there.
You may have selected to fax from glass or you may have a piece of paper on the glass.
If your placing the paper in the document feeder and it is still not rolling in. Check to see that there isn't anything jamming the feeder. The thing that activates the feeder and tells the printer to fax or scan from feeder is a small spring latch that sits internally at the top part of the cover and when ever paper is fed through it, it will engage the feeder. This small spring latch can easily come off or disengage from the unit especially if you have recently moved the printer. Check to see if it's a spring problem. If it is all you have to do is place it in place and all should work as normal. Be very careful not to force anything and gentle with any other component that you may encounter while looking, they can easily brake off.
Hope this works for you!
